Your application for Early Decision admission has been given very careful consideration by our Admission Committee and we are sorry to inform you that they voted not to admit you for the coming Fall semester. As you probably realize, Claremont McKenna College is committed to maintaining its relatively small enrollment and, therefore, we do not have room to admit all of our applicant pool. This year we had the largest number ever of Early Decision applicants, so the competition was especially keen.

We would like to assure you that this decision was made only after the Committee had made a thorough review of all of your credentials. However, because of our policy of limited enrollment, we cannot accept all who apply and disappointments are, therefore, unavoidable.

We are sorry we could not do more for you and we do hope that you will be successful in gaining entrance elsewhere.


感觉还好，不是很sad。估计是距离上次做和application的东西相距太远了，早就没有当初很想去美国的感觉了。自欺欺人也好，实话实说也好，貌似时间对我来说总有很好的疗效。我怀疑即使到了明年四月份被录了，我还是很麻木的感觉。

不过有人要走了，恭喜是应该的，很多的是不舍。还有六七个月了。
